Cancellation

If it is necessary to cancel/skip any scheduled cleaning day, please notify us 2 business days prior to your scheduled service day. That will allow us to reassign the Provider or team to another appointment and make the necessary announcements to the customers scheduled before or after your appointment. For cancellation within the 2 business day window, a minimal charge of $10 would apply. We would waive this fee if service is rescheduled during the same week. A $50 charge would apply if we came out to your home, but do not have access because no advance notice of a rescheduled was advised.

The quotes we give customers pertain to that specific service being requested. If a schedule is skipped, the next visit defaults to the price of the next level of service as more time has elapsed between regular service, which would require more time to clean. Example - A skipped clean for every 2 weeks becomes a monthly 4 week clean.

Additional Cleaning Time Request

For move in, move out, first time, and that occasional one time only cleaning, additional time may be needed to complete the service. With your approval of course, if we need additional time to clean, there may be a $25 charge for each additional 30 minutes of cleaning. This would not be applicable for regular repeat cleaning though as at that point, we would have "grown" accustomed to your home and not need additional time to clean.

Payments

For your convenience, Budget-Maids gladly accepts the following forms of payment: MasterCard/Visa, Discover, cash or check. One-time cleanings would require a credit card payment only - sorry no checks. A $25.00 fee is applied to all returned checks, and there would be a $10 late fee for all accounts which are more than 5 days unpaid due to expired, declined credit card, etc.

Service Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with any part of our cleaning service, please call us within 24 hours and we would dispatch a Supervisor to address the areas in question. Please note, it is not possible to issue refunds due to the potential for abuse hence we would make sure you are satisfied with the job we were hired to do in the first place.

Claims

In the event of accidental damage or missing item(s), notify us within 24 hours of your cleanning appointment so we can start the claims process. Budget Maids reserves the right to contract suitable professionals to repair damages, and will make payment arrangements directly to its contractors to settle any repairs. We take all claims very seriously, and do require a police report for any claim of theft as described in our claim document.

Valuables

Please safely secure valuable items and collectibles prior to cleanings.

Large and Heavy Items

For safety, and reasons outlined in our liability insurance policy in effect, our Cleaning Specialists are not allowed to lift or move heavy items or furniture (exceeding 20 pounds). They are also not allowed to extend in excess of the height of 2 steps on a step ladder.

Employee Referral Fee

Should you wish to hire a present or past Budget-Maids staff member for any home-related service outside of your agreement with us, our referral fee is $2,500. This fee is due within 30 days of notification from Budget-Maids. If the fee is not paid, Budget-Maids reserve the right to pursue legal means of collection.
